When Leonard and I were little, we used to call a tree in our yard like this a "twiddle tree." I don't remember why, something about sesame street I think! It has white bark that peels off and looks like paper, and little things that fall off the tree in the spring that look like worms. I think my dad says its a white birch, but it will always be a twiddle tree to me :)
