Last week was super productive. I made my to do list look like a scratchy pad with notes and crosses offs and stuff. Makes me very excited!
Yesterday, we went and picked out wedding bands :-) We went with white gold to match the engagment ring (of course <.giggle.>) and we think they will be beautiful :-)
I also placed my final order for our flowers from freshroses and that should be confirmed tomorrow, I think :-)
Let's see, we went to find ballet slippers on Thursday night at Lloyd Center, but they had to order some so I'll have to go back to try a 7 1/2 or an 8 on. I think they will look pretty and make my feet comfy at least <.giggle.> Its gonna be hot in my dress, so I didn't think I needed to have to worry about my feet being uncomfortable!
Wednesday, we found a friend who was willing to take pictures. I'm excited to finally have that taken care of :-)
I am planning on scheduling a trial run on my hair with Megan and Tiffany, who has graciously agreed to be my personal assistant for the wedding day :-) This should happen sometime next week. Then I'll know how to put together my veil - if I put my hair up, I'll have my veil come from the back of my head, and if I wear it down, it'll be attached right behind my tiara. My friend Heidi showed me how she did her veil, and that gave me more of a clue of how to put mine on a comb :-)
I got to go to a great bridal shower last night for my friend Jennifer. It was wonderful to be around old friends again. It makes me miss being able to have people to hang out with... I'm hoping that some of these friends can make it to my wedding :-)
I got to see Karen (my reception coordinator) this weekend briefly too ;-) She is planning on coming for my whole wedding weekend, and I am very excited about that - She's a good friend, and I wouldn't want to have my wedding without her around :-)
