I'm working on our invitations - I just don't like anything that I'm finding in catalogs, and know I won't be happy if I don't do them myself <g> I created a beautiful lavender floral print with Paint Shop Pro (click here) and then printed our wording on vellum (slightly see-through material). I'm gonna tie it all together with a ribbon and then make programs to match :-)
I found a webpage with flowers to buy wholesale flowers. Its a great deal - check it out for yourself: A HREF="http://www.freshroses.com/">http://www.freshroses.comI think that there will be enough of us to work on flowers the Friday-- Saturday before our wedding that we could do it. I'm emailing them about Daisies and the colors of lavender roses that they have, and hopefully, I'll be able to work with them. Now I need a good floral arrangement book so I can start looking at what I'm gonna do :-) I've never done boutonnieres or corsages before!
Megan was out running errands for work, and found the Wal-Mart sundress in the right size for Katy, our Bible girl. It was the last in her size!! Very cool stuff. I need to get a picture of it, but Wal-Mart doesn't have it on their webpage.
Annette found the *perfect* flower girl dress for Caley, at Wal-Mart of all places! Its a beautiful sundress with a crinkley lavender top layer and then a lavender flowered layer underneath. It even has a little wrap for it that matches :-)
