I'm scanning pictures!! As of last night, I have 57 scanned in :-) I'm working on touching them all up so I can post them :) Everything I've scanned in is so beautimus! Our photographer, Doug Congleton, did such a good job for never doing a wedding before :-) He captured some totally cute shots, and I can't wait to share them :-)
Its so much fun to read Carol's Bride's Journal because I just did all these things - hon, if you need ANY help, let me know!!! {{hugs}}
I've been back from my honeymoon for almost a week, and I'm so happy to be married. I am organizing my thoughts for a recap of the wedding and have been scanning in pictures to share with you all :-)
Only 4 days!
I have quite a few things to accomplish today and more things to do than I have time to list them.
But programs are being worked on as I type at my house - I love having help for a change! :-) Hopefully, they will be closer to done by the time we get home at lunch time.
I'm so lucky to have such a cute, sweet, wonderful boy to marry in 4 days!!!
Eric's parents arrived Friday night, and we met with them saturday morning to go to his mom's family reunion. I got to meet a few new people and saw a few I had met when they had a smaller reunion in Walla Walla when he graduated. Then Eric and I got to run a few errands and came home and finished the ceremony CD. We nailed down all of the music and he burned it all together. There were only a few glitches in the CD, and we'll just have the sound person fade those out :-) I finished all of the sewing and connecting of the pew bows between last night and then this morning once I got up. They look beautimus! I still need to do my veil now. I'm just not positive how to cut it. I have a kinda-pattern :-)
Errands today include a real trip to Safeway for food for the week - we both have friends who will be eating at our house, and so that means we need to have food to feed them with. We also need to go over to the mall and maybe find an outfit for Eric to wear when we leave the reception. I have a cute lavender slip-dress from old navy and
these shoes from Payless. And then we have a few more gifts to purchase - hopefully, Things Remembered will have what we are looking for. Mr. Formal is making me come and sign my credit card receipt instead of just taking the card over the phone, and that's obnoxious because I have to drive over there and take care of it.
So that's our day. Hopefully, we'll get the Reception CD finished today, too. The rest of the week will be lots of fun, too, I know - there's so many things to do, but I think its a do-able amount.
*~~~~~ Blowing Kisses - Kristine!
I saw the coolest thing yesterday. We went to pick up our wedding bands from the store downtown, and next door to the jewelers is a bridal salon. I glanced at the dress in the window and I swear, it is the same as mine!! I couldn't look very closely because Eric was with me, and he hasn't seen my dress yet, but I can't wait to drive back by there!!
I know that I think my dress is beautiful, but this tells me that other people think so, too, and that makes me feel special :->
Its getting closer - only 10 more days!
I have so much excited anticipation building right now - its stressful and happy and scarey and wonderful. I wish I could capture this feeling and be able to draw on it when things inevitably have their rougher spots.
For sale - Bottled Anticipation. Only 3trillion-gazillion dollars <.giggle.>
I still have quite the list of things to do, but it is getting down there all of the time. I'm really excited about putting together some baskets tonight. I also plan to get some decoration things organized tonight. Maybe I'll sort my wedding room (the bedroom which is full of wedding stuff!!) I love decorating things, anyhow! :-)
