I've had a lucky week. Once I got over my cold of last weekend, I've gotten to spend quite a bit of time with Eric this week. Its been lots of fun, and makes me have this warm, happy, love-filled smile on my face. See, I'm lucky!!!
So were you wondering how Eric and I spent our 2 month anniversary? Because of some scheduling changes, he was supposed to take my sisters place at the Bare Naked Ladies concert on Friday night. But things changed again at the very last second, and Megan and Lisa and I ended up going. We only got to see each other for a teeny tiny bit that day because I didn't get home until 11-something. I feel kinda bad.... He said he didn't mind, but I always feel bad when things don't work out just right!
Its pretty exciting that we've been married for over 2 monthes now :-)
Next month, we are taking a trip! We get to spend Thanksgiving in California with Eric's family and get to go and see his friends :-) We lucked out and got some not-so-bad tickets and it'll be fun I think :-)
That's the updates for the moment!!
I have submitted my wedding dress to a Dress Contest :-) I think it is the most perfect wedding dress, and so I put together a layout as the rules asked of me in my dress....
And here's my entry text:
My dress was exquisitely perfect for me.
The bodice was nicely fitted with wide sleeveless straps and a scoop neckline. It had flowers and butterflies (each was on separate material attached to the dress so they seemed to want to fly off the dress) embroidered on -- almost as if they were growing up from the waistline and the hem on the train. The dress was made of Italian Satin that flowed beautifully as I walked. A long line of buttons came all of the way down the back to a midpoint of the dress and at the bottom of the buttons, there was a single butterfly. When the dress was bustled up for the ceremony, it had a beautiful shape and showed off the full beauty of the embroidered flowers and butterflies down the entire back.
I love my dress and wish I could wear it again!
