Eric and I are going into our first holiday season as a married couple. We spent last Christmas together, but I wasn't very together last year because I was super sick right up till Christmas. This year, I've gotten to make Christmas cookies, and we bought and decorated a tree, and there are Christmas lights all over, and even Christmas Cards hung up on the closet door!!! I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, and we have plans to spend part of Christmas Eve and then Christmas morning with my family. I think that we'll be exchanging presents either after we go to my families house for Christmas Eve dinner or in the morning before going over for Christmas morning :) I want to start some new traditions, that are just ours, and enjoy being together during the special season where we celebrate the birth of Jesus. I'm really looking forward to next year. We will be moving in Januaray and if all goes well, we'll be in this complex for a while. Its definately more homey looking, and quite a bit bigger - so next year, we'll have a fireplace to hang stockings from!! And I want to buy a nativity scene for next year and more decorations. And maybe have a big Christmas party with friends and family. How warm and wonderful does that sound?

May you and yours enjoy the love that you find during the holiday season as much as Eric and I plan to :)
